Casting is complete as Emily Resling accepts challenge

Yesterday marked two months left until the Fremont Solstice Parade. And was also our self-imposed deadline to find the last of four riders whose stories we’ll be telling in Beyond Naked. We were fortunate to have several great people to choose between, and we had to make some tough choices between some great candidates. But at the end of the day, we’re thrilled we can announce rider number four: Emily Resling.

Emily is on a mission to bring joy to her life after the sudden death of her father late last year. And participating in this film, she feels, is the right thing at the right time. We like her attitude. But there’s just one problem: she doesn’t know how to ride a bicycle. Really. She stopped riding altogether after a biking accident when she was 7 that left her feeling betrayed by bicycles. She’ll have to climb back into the saddle for this film, and we look forward to taking the journey with her.

Next up: Kickstarter campaign. Our goal is to launch a campaign by the end of this week, to raise enough money to rent camera equipment, pay for radio-controlled helicopter for climax scene, catering the food for the volunteer crew on June 18, and a thousand other things required to complete and distribute this film.
